Overall good experience, would have liked to be able to get a 90 minute session but you were booked out! So I felt a bit rushed and leaving town tomorrow so can’t come back this trip.
Absolutely fabulous massage and facial at the last minute. Thank you so much.
The Giving Tree Spa is the best kept secret in Williamsburg! I found you through a friend on facebook, how have I not known about you before now? I’ll definitely be back and Im looking forward to enjoying some of those facebook flash special coupons. I’d happily pay full price but with a coupon I can come back more often so thanks! I have to say this is the best spa in town, I’m so excited to have discovered you.
Lovely surprise treat from my hubby while we’re on holiday. First time to America and first time having a masssage. Maggie was very understanding as I was a bit nervous at first. She put me at ease and I felt like a new woman when she was done. Maybe that was the hubby’s idea! Thanks for a great experience all around, highly recommended.
Visiting Williamsburg staying at a Wyndham hotel in town. I was able to get the September special for $89 using a coupon from the website yesterday. LOVE your iPhone App – was able to send a reservation request, someone called to confirm my appointment and sent me a confirmation by email. I used the app to get turn by turn driving directions, so actually arrived early, was greeted and made to feel welcome. My therapist was friendly but still professional. The massage (I went for the Deep Tissue option) was excellent, I only wished I had asked for the 90 mins upgrade because they were fully booked so I couldn’t add it on the spur. An excellent experience form start to finish, I WILL be back, wish you were in my home town too!
I have sciatica and I pulled something lifting the wife’s suitcase into the car to come on this trip! Our daughter recommended I get a massage for some immediate relief. I’m an old guy and never had a massage before, so although I was reluctant, I was also desperate. Boy am I glad I went in to your Spa today. When I called the manager took time to ask what I needed and recommended a 90 minute Deep Tissue session. I cannot believe the difference this has made, I feel like a spring chicken and now I’m all set to enjoy the rest of my week here in Williamsburg! Thank you just doesn’t seem enough.
Such a unique space. The owner has done a great job creating a calm and surprisingly versatile environment. I was there over the holidays with several friends and we were all able to be accommodated at the same time, and I was delighted with a calming massage and the mint foot mask with hot towels was exquisite! We all left refreshed and ready for an enjoyable day in Colonial Williamsburg. Highly recommend!
Best massage, booked via phone at last minute, did the Spring Special $145 for two one hour massages was a great deal. Thanks Maggie & Diane.
Very relaxing and intimate setting. My boyfriend and I got a couples massage and we’re both very satisfied with the services provided. I would absolutely recommend anyone wanting to get the best massage you’ve ever had and at a reasonable price to make an appointment with The Giving Tree Spa. You won’t be disappointed and it is so worth it.
I called last-minute due to a pretty bad migraine. I was on the verge of going to the ER for steroid shots, but a co-worker reminded me that massages have shown to help with migraines. I called my normal massage therapist, but he wasn’t available, nor was anyone else. I did a Google search and found The Giving Tree. Usually when I go to massage places, they’re usually Forbes four or five star facilities, but after checking out the reviews, I devised to give it a shot. Boy, am I glad I did! Elizabeth asked me about my triggers, migraine history, etc., then spent about 45 minutes just on my neck, shoulders, and head. I’ll be the first to admit that she had me sound asleep. We decided to go ahead and extend to 90 minutes, and I’m pretty sure she was staying well past closing time. By the time we were done, my migraine was gone and I was so relaxed! I can’t say enough about how incredible Elizabeth is! I’ll definitely be coming back to her!
